About Us
The church began life as a home group in 1988 meeting in a basement flat. The home group eventually outgrew the flat and there was a growing conviction that we should take things to the next level, meet on a Sunday and call ourselves something other than a home group. On Sunday October 6th 1991 we had our first ever Sunday gathering in North Berwick High School and have met there ever since.
The Fellowship mainly come from North Berwick but we are also from places like Aberlady, Archerfield, Chirnside, Dirleton, Dunbar, Duns, Edinburgh, Gullane, Haddington, Longniddry and Monksmuir. We have a wide age span within the church ranging from babies through to seniors. This helps engender a sense of extended family.
We do not have a formal membership as such, but those who are part of the church family (or becoming part of the church family) know that the Fellowship is their spiritual home on the basis that home is where the heart is. Membership is about belonging, serving, involvement and commitment to one another in Christ.
